What You'll Do

Financial Operations

Own day-to-day accounting: categorization, reconciliation, monthly closing.

Process payroll for engineering and operations team.

Manage vendor payments, reimbursements, and expense workflows

Maintain equipment asset registers and track multi-currency transactions

Compliance & Reporting

Handle GST compliance and timely filings

Coordinate US tax obligations and requirements

Prepare monthly management accounts and cash flow reports

Create financial documents and investor updates as required

Set up financial controls and process documentation

Strategic Support

Build investor-ready financial reports and presentations

Provide financial analysis for business decisions

Support international expansion planning (SF move planned)

Assist in preparation for future funding rounds

Requirements Must Have:

CA qualification (ICAI member in good standing) - mandatory

3-6 years post-qualification experience

Startup or high-growth company experience strongly preferred

Expert in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)

Advanced Excel and financial modeling

Deep knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax regulations

Understanding of US tax implications

Ability to create clear financial reports for investors

Experience with equity compensation and cap tables

Key Attributes:

Self-starter who can build processes from scratch

Clear communicator with non-finance team members

Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environment

Absolute discretion with confidential information
