Executive Financial Reporting - Social networking Company - Bengaluru

Job Summary:

The Executive-Financial Reporting will be responsible for end-to-end financial reporting, audit coordination, and statutory compliance support. This role focuses on accuracy, control, and closure, ensuring that financial statements, audits, and reporting frameworks are robust, compliant, and scalable as the business grows. This is not a clerical role. It is meant for a qualified CA who can independently own reporting, audits, and technical accounting while also contributing to process improvements and control frameworks.

Designation: Executive-Financial Reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) as per IGAAP / Ind AS
• Lead statutory audit and internal audit end-to-end (data prep, queries, closures)
• Own audit schedules, workings, and closure timelines
• Prepare Ind AS adjustments, reconciliations, and disclosures
• Support monthly / quarterly MIS reporting and variance analysis
• Oversee and review statutory compliance outputs (GST, TDS, other tax filings) from a reporting and audit-readiness perspective.
• Work on strengthening internal controls, SOPs, and control frameworks
• Drive process improvements in accounting, reporting, and audit readiness
• Coordinate with finance ops team to ensure accurate and complete reporting
• Support management and board-level reporting requirements

Role Requirements

• Strong understanding of Ind AS, financial statements, and disclosures
• Hands-on audit management experience (Big4 / mid-size firms / startups preferred)
• Strong Excel skills; exposure to ERP/accounting systems is a plus
• High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments

Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant Fresher

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in financial reporting / audit / controllership role

Working days: Monday to Friday
