Job Opening: Internal Audit (CA Fresher)

Location: Chennai

Function: Internal Audit / Compliance / Regulatory Operations

Eligibility: Chartered Accountant (CA) Fresher

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal Audit

• Prepare internal audit checklists and issue half-yearly circulars for audit submissions
• Analyse internal audit reports and identify observations / violations
• Prepare agenda notes for cases to be placed before appropriate authority for disciplinary decisions
• Draft minutes of committee meetings
• Issue action letters to members based on disciplinary outcomes
• Coordinate with Accounts team for debiting penalties
• Handle member queries related to internal audit

2. Data Collation & Reporting

• Collate and analyse data from internal departments and external exchanges
• Use data analytics tools and data warehouses to generate reports
• Identify early risk alerts and financial stress indicators
• Conduct detailed examinations and prepare analytical reports

3. Limited Purpose Inspections (LPI)

• Analyse cases and define scope for Limited Purpose Inspections
• Review inspection reports from regional offices
• Share inspection details with the regulator wherever required
• Track and follow up on completion of inspections

Other Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements and update Business Excellence teams
• Respond to regulatory and member compliance queries
• Maintain regulatory correspondence and internal databases
• Support investor awareness initiatives via email and SMS campaigns
• Assist in preparation and submission of reports for regulator and Board-level meetings

Learning & Growth

• Minimum 40 hours of training annually
• Continuous learning exposure in audit, compliance, analytics, and regulatory operations
