Our Edge Security Technology squad builds, runs and enhances the edge security products and services that protect the CBA Group's internet facing websites, web applications, APIs and perimeter infrastructure from distributed denial of service, web application & API cyberattacks.

Impact & Contribution:

• As a Chapter Lead for Edge & API Security, you’ll lead a talented chapter of engineers dedicated to protecting the bank’s critical infrastructure.

• Your team will design, implement, and optimize cutting-edge security solutions to mitigate threats across Edge Security and API Security domains.

• You will champion agility, DevSecOps, and service excellence, ensuring your chapter delivers high-impact outcomes while responding swiftly to evolving challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deep expertise in Edge Security and API Security, including DDoS Protection, Web Application Firewalls, Recon, Posture Management, and Active Security Testing.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams, with a strong track record of building talent, fostering collaboration, and driving results.

• Extensive experience working in highly agile environments, with a focus on continuous planning, prioritization, and improvement to deliver impactful outcomes.

• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, with hands-on experience driving automation and integrating secure-by-design practices into the engineering lifecycle.

• Demonstrated ability to lead responses to major incidents, coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.

• Success in delivering complex, high-impact security initiatives in fast-paced environments.

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.

Essential Skills:

• Experience: 14+ Years.

• Deep expertise in Edge Security and API Security, including DDoS Protection, Web Application Firewalls, Recon, Posture Management, and Active Security Testing.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams, with a strong track record of building talent, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
