Job Description
Mill-it is a premium clean-label food brand bringing back Bharats native grains, freshly milled flours, artisanal bakery, traditional sweets, and honest snacks made without preservatives, additives, or factory shortcuts.
Our B2B vertical supplies retail stores, corporate kitchens, office pantries, cafs, restaurants, bakeries, caterers, hotels, and cloud kitchens seeking high-quality, chemical-free ingredients and finished foods.
We are hiring a results-driven B2B Channel Sales Manager to build and scale Mill-its institutional business across NCR. The role combines hunter + farmer responsibilities acquiring new accounts, activating distributors, and growing repeat institutional revenue.
Drive new client acquisition across:
- Corporate cafeterias & tech park kitchens
- Office pantries & facility management companies
- Restaurants & cloud kitchens
- Bakeries & dessert chains
- Caterers & event companies
- Hotels & hospitality groups
- Premium retail stores & gourmet outlets
- Appoint and manage distributors for B2B supply
- Expand presence in modern trade & premium kirana stores
- Ensure availability of key SKUs across outlets
- Drive secondary sales and retail throughput
- Build strong relationships with chefs, procurement heads, F&B managers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply terms
- Increase wallet share within existing accounts
- Drive repeat orders and long-term partnerships
- Sell across Mill-it categories:
- Staples: Freshly milled atta, native grains, cold-pressed oils
- Bakery: Fresh breads, pao, pizza bases, cookies, rusks
- Sweets & Snacks: Desi ghee laddoos, namkeen, mathri, makhana
- Instants: Regional premixes, chilla mixes, ready blends
- Forecast demand and coordinate with production
- Ensure timely deliveries and service levels
- Manage order processing, invoicing, and collections
- Maintain CRM / pipeline reports
- Identify emerging foodservice trends
- Track competitor offerings and pricing
- Recommend B2B-specific SKUs and pack sizes
- Spot opportunities in new clusters (IT parks, hospitals, schools, etc.)
- Channel revenue growth
- Number of active B2B accounts onboarded
- Distribution coverage
- Repeat order frequency
- Collection efficiency
- Customer retention rate
- 48 years of B2B sales experience in FMCG / Food / HORECA / Retail distribution
- Proven track record in institutional sales and channel development
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with distributors and large accounts
- Ability to work independently in a fast-growing environment
- Experience in premium food brands, bakery, dairy, staples, or packaged foods
- Existing network in HORECA / corporate procurement
- Understanding of retail operations and merchandising
- MBA or relevant business degree preferred
- Strategic thinking with execution focus
