We seek an experienced professional to refine existing web analytics tracking and reporting analyzing user interaction using Google Tag Manager GTM This role owns the implementation and management of tags triggers and variables using Google Tag Manager In addition this role will support other operational projects under the Marketing Operations team as we implement new platforms
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- GTM Platform Management Oversee and maintain the entire GTM setup ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently In charge of ad tech infrastructure for all paid marketing channels search display social video programmatic etc across GEHC
- GTM Governance Pixel and UTM governance across both paid and organic channels including reporting on operations and performance
- Tag Implementation and Management Implement monitor and troubleshoot all GTM tags including marketing and technology tags to ensure accurate data collection and tracking across websites and apps
- Pixel Deployment Manage the deployment of various marketing pixels to track campaign performance and user interactions
- Trigger Setup and Optimization Define and optimize triggers to capture key user interactions and events
- Custom Script Development Write and maintain custom JavaScript and HTML scripts to enhance tracking capabilities and meet specific tracking requirements
- User Management Manage user access roles and permissions within the GTM platform to ensure security and compliance
- Container Creation and Maintenance Create manage and update GTM containers for different projects ensuring proper version control and change management
- Data Accuracy and Integrity Ensure the accuracy and integrity of tracking data by regularly auditing tags triggers and variables
- Reporting Centralize marketing reporting needs and own prioritization meeting w internal Analytics team
- Assess current analytics efforts implement recommended changes and work with stakeholders for holistic and accurate tracking and reporting of user engagement
- Generate dashboards and reports displaying site metrics gathered using GA4
- Continuous improvements Analyze website data and trends to identify areas for improvement
- Develop tracking strategies for multiple user roles and applications ensuring clean and segmented data collection
- Work collaboratively with front and backend development teams to deliver and release tagging updates into production environments
- Collaboration with Teams Work closely with marketing IT and analytics teams to understand tracking needs and provide solutions that meet business objectives
- Communications Maintain stakeholders inform on progress new capabilities best practices and roadmap
- Promote and communicate the value of using UTM and pixels to track campaigns and understand the customer experience
- Create custom events and guide stakeholders on tracking capabilities based on desired report outcomes
- Day to day operations Create ticketing system to manage request for support
- Support other projects under the Marketing Operations team like UTMs customers requests reporting implementation and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering SDLC Web Applications Development
- StrongAdvanced knowledge of the following scripting languages SQL JavaScript HTML CSS jQuery Angular JS Object Oriented Design programming and fundamentals
- Knowledge of Tag Management systems like Google Tag Manager GTM is a MUST have
- Google Analytics Certification or GTM Certification is preferred
- Experience in Web Analytics data visualization tools and marketing pixel implementation
- Experience in implementing and troubleshooting Marketing pixels using GTM
- Experience Implementing and updating 3rd party tags associated to analytics platforms testing usability SEO SEM etc for collecting and reporting on web activity
- Experience in implementing and troubleshooting consent management.
