Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

:

 

Leads the business development team and oversees the growth and expansion of the company. They are responsible for finding new clients, developing new markets, and creating new business opportunities for the company. Some of their main job roles are:

  • Recruitment and development of BDE
  • Developing and implementing a business culture and helping the BDE to generate new leads through activities and Eco System Partner enrolment etc,. 
  • Help the BDE to build and maintain a list of prospective clients and leads.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends and opportunities.
  • Arranging and attending business joint visit with BDEs
  • Communicating with the sales team and business managers to coordinate and align sales efforts.
  • Help the BDE to update and maintain a customer database and sales pipeline.
  • Developing and mentoring entry level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Provide continuous MIS to sales team.
  • Liaison with other departments within the institution
  • Train the BDE and control the attrition.
  • Achieve the Zone target for the assigned products viz NCA, EDI and NBPS
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise to BDEs.
  • Help the BDEs to earn incentive month on month.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have:

 

 

  • Proven experience as a Channel head Branch Development executive or similar role in the banking or financial services industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel frequently and visit channel partners and branches.
  • Require extensive travel within the zone.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field
