Job Description Chief Finance Officer (FMCG Retail Business)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced finance professional to lead and manage end-to-end financial operations for a fast-paced FMCG & Retail business. The role demands strong hands-on expertise in SAP, deep commercial understanding of retail/FMCG operations, and the ability to partner with business leaders to drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closures with accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive financial control, compliance, and governance across the organization.
• Partner with business, sales, supply chain, and operations teams to improve margins and cost efficiency.
• Oversee working capital management including inventory, receivables, and payables.
• Ensure effective utilization of SAP (mandatory) for financial reporting, controls, and business insights.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Manage audits, statutory compliance, taxation, and liaison with external stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements

• SAP experience is mandatory (hands-on working knowledge).
• FMCG & Retail industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, margins, inventory cycles, and distribution models.
• Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams.
