Job Title

Certified Laboratory Technician to work in a Histochemistry Laboratory

We are currently seeking Senior and Junior Laboratory Technicians to join the Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre, IIT Madras, Chennai, India . Candidates with experience in a histopathology laboratory will be highly preferred. Selected candidates will receive training in laboratory skills for the first three months .

Job Description

• Involves running and maintaining a histochemistry laboratory with equipment like Cryostat, Autostainer and Coverslippers.
• Primary role will be doing cryosectioning, preparation of solution and reagents, and setting up lab processes prior to the start of experiments.
• Follow laboratory standard operating protocols (SOPs)
• Requires working as part of a tight-knit development team
• Looking for a team player in a project with an opportunity for the right candidate to continue advancing their role and responsibilities as the laboratory grows.
• Maintain lab hygiene based on appropriate biosafety requirements

Qualification Requirements

B.Sc ( Medical Lab Technology) - or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (Mandatory) with or without prior Experience.
