Cell Test Engineer

You’ll be our: Cell testing Engineer

What you’ll do at Ather:

• Execution of cell level testing  like functional/safety and life aging tests with good hands on experience.

• Will be good in setting up test setups, execution and interpreting data.

• Understand current processes involved in setting up cell testing, ideate and execute ways to improve execution efficiency and quality of results.

• Interact with the cell engineering team and battery team to understand the test requirement and provide the necessary data to them.

• Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the information and trend through Python or any coding language.

• Good in cell testing data analysis and plotting. 

• Maintaining the product database by writing computer programs and entering data.

• Keeping the equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures and requesting repair service, if necessary.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Understanding with different chemistry cell testing.

• Familiar with automation skills using Python or labview and a knack for quickly learning new coding/scripting languages.

• Basic understanding of Electrical functions, Battery and cells function

• Good understanding of electric and electronic components .

• Explorer mentality to keep pushing boundaries 

• Strong self-learning ability 

• Eye for detail, problem finder and solver

• Identify the critical field failures and reproduce the same at lab conditions to derive the new test Methodologies.

What you bring to Ather:

• B.E or B.tech in  Electrical Engineering/  Mechatronics Engineering

• 4-6 years relevant work experience into cell testing.
