Role Summary

The CEC Product Owner will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of HCLTechs Customer Experience Center technology platform a cloud-based CMS and IoT-integrated ecosystem that powers real-time experiences across Noida, Chennai, Silicon Valley, New Jersey, and other locations.

This role blends digital product management, operations, and experience design to ensure our CECs stay cutting-edge, connected, and consistent with HCLTechs brand story. Youll serve as the orchestrator between IT, marketing, agencies, and on-site teams turning vision into execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the CEC product roadmap define, prioritize, and execute enhancements for the global CEC CMS platform (built on Drupal, hosted on the cloud).
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of new features and integrations content sync, IoT devices (lighting, sound, screens), analytics, and remote deployment for events and pop-up experiences.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across marketing (vertical, horizontal, corporate), IT (architecture, infrastructure), and agency partners (developers, designers, integrators).
  • Define and monitor KPIs, including guest experience scores, system uptime, content sync success rate, and roadmap milestone completion.
  • Maintain a living product backlog , ensuring alignment with marketing priorities and experience design objectives set by the Experiential Deal Management Team (XDMT).
  • Oversee content deployment governance , ensuring brand and messaging consistency across all physical and digital CEC touchpoints.
  • Champion innovation in how the CEC platform integrates data, personalization, AI, and immersive technologies to enhance visitor journeys.
  • Serve as the organizer and aggregator of cross-functional decisions and timelines, driving clarity, velocity, and accountability across teams, escalating to leadership when needed.
  • Document and standardize processes for deployment, testing, and maintenance to ensure scalability as new CECs or event extensions launch.
  • Collaborate with on-site CEC representatives to gather feedback on guest interactions and translate that into product and experience improvements.
  • Contribute to experience design strategy alongside the XDMT to support strategic deal pursuits and executive briefings.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Technology, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 11-15 years of experience in digital product management, marketing technology, or experience center operations within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Drupal CMS , cloud architectures (Azure and/or AWS), and IoT integration principles.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional technology initiatives with agencies, IT, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, and delivering features through Agile or Scrum methods.
  • Ability to interpret and act on data insights analytics, usage metrics, and feedback loops.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills adept at balancing technical detail and business context.
  • Demonstrated leadership in navigating complex, matrixed organizations and driving alignment across teams.


Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with digital signage, IoT platforms, or immersive experience systems.
  • Knowledge of data visualization or personalization engines integrated into CMS.
  • Prior exposure to corporate visitor centers, executive briefing centers, or innovation labs.
  • Certifications in product management (SAFe, CSPO, PMP) or cloud technologies.
