Job Description
TCS is Hiring - Merchandising Category Specialists
Location: Chennai
Qualification: Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3) is mandatory.

- Strong retail KPI acumen with expertise in Planning and Allocation
- Creative eye with ability to partner closely with Design teams
- Passion for the retail industry and innovation-driven mindset
- Experience managing and developing direct reports
- Excellent communication and organizational skills using digital tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Merchandising Execution Support merchandise plans, seasonal range planning, assortment optimization, and visual merchandising alignment.
- Buyer Assistance Operational support for Buyers and Category Managers, including product setup, vendor onboarding, and maintaining assortment plans.
- Inventory & Assortment Management Monitor stock levels, sell-through rates, and suggest reorders or markdowns.
- Analytics & Reporting Generate performance reports and provide actionable insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work with planning, marketing, e-commerce, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution.
