Role Overview

We are seeking a Category Manager Quick Commerce to lead and scale our business across platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and other rapid delivery marketplaces.

This role will be responsible for platform growth, assortment strategy, pricing optimisation, trade marketing, and margin control.


Platform Management

  • Manage end-to-end business across quick commerce platforms
  • Build strong relationships with platform category teams
  • Ensure high visibility, placement, and ranking of SKUs
  • Monitor platform performance metrics regularly

Assortment & SKU Strategy

  • Identify high-velocity SKUs suitable for quick commerce
  • Optimise assortment based on sales and inventory data
  • Launch new products in coordination with internal teams
  • Manage pack sizes and platform-specific variants

Pricing & Margin Optimisation

  • Develop pricing strategy aligned with platform commissions
  • Monitor gross and contribution margins
  • Evaluate promotional ROI
  • Control discounting while protecting brand value

Inventory & Fill Rate Management

  • Ensure strong fill rates and minimal stock-outs
  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams
  • Forecast demand based on platform trends
  • Minimise expiries and dead stock

Data & Performance Analytics

  • Analyse platform sales trends and category movement
  • Track ranking performance and visibility
  • Build weekly and monthly performance dashboards
  • Identify growth levers through structured data analysis

Growth & Expansion

  • Identify expansion opportunities across cities and dark stores
  • Drive seasonal campaigns and platform promotions
  • Develop long-term channel growth strategy


Required Experience

  • 48 years of experience in e-commerce or quick commerce category management
  • Experience working with Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of pricing, commissions, and trade marketing
  • Experience in food, FMCG, or retail preferred
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset
