Job Description
The Category Head Online will own the complete online revenue, visibility, pricing, and performance of UAE Tours & Activities across website, marketplaces, OTAs, SEO, Affiliate, paid media, Marketing Automation and CRM .
This is a P&L ownership role , not a coordination role.
- Own online revenue, margin, conversion rate & ticket size for UAE Tours & Activities
- Build monthly & quarterly sales forecasts
- Identify high-margin & high-volume products (Desert Safari, Yachts, Attractions, Cruises, Combos)
- Drive upsell, cross-sell & add-on strategy (transport, meals, VIP seating, private options)
- Define pricing slabs , last-minute deals, dynamic pricing & blackout strategies
- Control inventory allocation (especially owned assets: camps, yachts, cruises, vehicles)
- Create exclusive online-only offers
- Decide when to push private vs shared experiences
- Own product page formats, content, USPs & CTAs
- Work with tech team on:
- Cart flow
- Add-on display
- Duplicate product handling
- Payment success ratio
- Improve:
- Conversion Rate (CR)
- Cart-to-payment ratio
- Mobile UX
- Own performance of:
- Google Search & PMax
- Meta (Instagram/Facebook)
- SEO (category + product level)
- Remarketing & abandoned cart
- Decide:
- Budget allocation by channel
- ROAS & CAC benchmarks
Define :
- Category structure (Yachts, Desert Safari, Attractions, Cruises, Combos)
- City & intent-based pages
- Guide SEO team on:
- Keywords to target
- Internal linking
- Review mapping
- Content gaps vs competitors
- Manage online sales on:
- Rayna website
- OTAs / aggregators (if applicable)
- Affiliate & reseller portals
- Control rate parity & inventory priority
- Monitor:
- Online complaints
- Refund & cancellation patterns
- Improve review score on:
- Product pages
- Google & Tripadvisor
- Use reviews for conversion & SEO
- Lead:
- Online sales planning
- Digital marketing coordination
- Content & SEO alignment
- Set KPIs and review performance weekly
- Online Revenue (UAE Tours & Activities)
- ROAS / CAC
- Conversion Rate
- Average Order Value (AOV)
- Inventory utilization (owned assets)
- Review rating improvement
- SEO traffic & keyword growth
Experience
- 812 years in:
- Online travel / OTA / DMC / Tours & Activities
- UAE destination experience is mandatory
- Strong exposure to Google Ads, Meta Ads & SEO (not execution, but strategy)
