Category Manager - Dental Industry

About the Role

Dentalkart is looking for an experienced Category Manager with strong dental domain expertise and a commercial mindset to lead and scale assigned dental categories. This is an onsite role based out of the Chhatarpur, New Delhi office, requiring hands-on ownership of category performance, vendor partnerships, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage assigned dental product categories end-to-end

Drive category growth through assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotions

Work closely with vendors, brands, and manufacturers to ensure availability and competitiveness Analyse category performance, sales trends, margins, and inventory health

Identify new product opportunities and onboard relevant brands/products

Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams for smooth execution

Develop and execute category-level business plans aligned with company objectives

Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education: BDS + MBA (Mandatory)

Experience: 48 years in category management, product management, or commercial roles

Strong understanding of dental products, instruments, and consumables

Proven experience in pricing strategy, margin optimization, and P&L ownership

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, onsite environment

Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
