Shree Additives is looking for a dynamic Category Growth Manager for building and strengthening the seasoning category as a strategic growth pillar for the organization.

About the Role:
As a Category Growth Manager, you will play a key role in building and strengthening the seasoning category as a strategic growth pillar for the organisation. The role will be generating deep market insights, defining category direction, shaping product portfolio priorities and enabling sales teams with structured category intelligence. The role will act as a strategic category leader who helps guide where the organisation should focus its efforts within the seasoning space.
Key Responsibilities:
Seasoning Category Strategy & Growth Direction
- Define and develop the strategic direction of the seasoning category.
- Identify priority customer segments, applications, and product platforms.
- Map market opportunities and emerging flavour trends.
- Support leadership in identifying high-potential growth areas within the seasoning business.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, flavour movements, and competitor developments.
- Build a structured understanding of different seasoning application sectors.
- Convert market insights into actionable category opportunities.
- Provide periodic intelligence inputs to support business decisions
Portfolio Development & Product Strategy
- Translate market insights into product and platform opportunities.
- Work closely with NPD to guide development priorities.
- Identify portfolio gaps and support development of future-ready product concepts.
- Contribute to building a differentiated seasoning portfolio.
Category Analytics & Business Insights
- Analyse category performance across products, customers, and applications.
- Support leadership with structured category insights and opportunity analysis.
- Identify growth drivers and emerging business opportunities.
- Contribute to category reviews and strategic planning discussions.
Sales Enablement & Key Account Support
- Support the sales team with category insights and product positioning.
- Participate in strategic discussions with key customers where required.
- Help identify high-potential customer segments and applications.
- Strengthen category-led selling across the organisation.
Commercial & Go-to-Market Support
- Contribute to pricing strategy and value positioning of seasoning products.
- Support category storytelling, presentations, and customer engagements.
- Contribute to trade show participation and category communication initiatives.
- Help shape the go-to-market narrative for the seasoning portfolio.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 57 years Experience in food ingredients, flavours, seasonings
- Strong understanding of B2B food industry dynamics
- Analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into strategic insights
- Ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and R&D
- Strong communication and presentation skills
