Job Description

Job Title: Career Guidance Saarthi


Location: Remote Working (Occasional intracity travel required in Mumbai)


Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree (Preferably in Psychology or Education)


Experience: > 2 years of relevant industry and counselling experience


Mandatory Requirements: Candidates proficient in English with excellent communication skills, tech-savvy, a passion for education, and a customer-centric approach.


Location: Preferably Mumbai/Pune-based


Compensation: INR 3,60, 000 net per annum fixed component + variable incentives.

Job Description


We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Career Guidance Saarthi. This role requires a proactive approach in guiding students and parents through their educational journey while ensuring seamless communication and support throughout the counselling process.


Key Responsibilities


Student & Parent Engagement

  • Conductintroductory discovery sessionswith students and parents to understand backgrounds, aspirations, strengths, and concerns prior to initiating psychometric assessments.
  • Leadfollow-up sessions for long-term programs, ensuring continuity, progress tracking, and sustained engagement.
  • Facilitateinterview brainstorming sessionsto prepare students for admissions interviews and key conversations.


Career Guidance & Counseling Support

  • Support the counseling process by contributing to the development ofroadmaps, guidance frameworks, and personalized recommendations.
  • Where required, assist in the development and delivery ofpsychological counseling materialaligned to student needs.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other counsellors in preparingresearch sheets and structured career plans.

  • Application & Academic Support

    • Guide students throughuniversity application processes(India and international), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
    • Conductform-filling sessionsand systematically track application progress for each student.
    • Proofreadessays, Statements of Purpose, CVs, and LinkedIn profilesto enhance quality and alignment with academic goals.


    Research & Knowledge Development

    • Conduct ongoingresearch on courses, colleges, universities, and emerging opportunitiesto strengthen the depth and relevance of guidance offered.


    Outreach & Representation

    • Represent Career Saarthi duringschool and corporate visits.
    • Participate ineducation fairs, institutional events, and external forumsto raise brand awareness and credibility.

  • Systems & Team Contribution

    • Maintain and update internal systems, includingtrackers, databases, presentations, and documentation,to ensure smooth operations.
    • Support thetraining and onboarding of new team memberson processes, tools, and service standards.
    • Engage with prospective clients who inquire about Career Saarthis programs to drive business development.
