Location: Gurugram, India

About the Team/Practice Area

Celerity Consulting has been mandated by a leading U.S.-based institutional real assets investment manager to support the hiring of an Associate Investor Relations / Capital Markets Support role.

The client is a well-established participant in the U.S. residential and real assets investment space, managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios on behalf of global institutional investors, including pensions, endowments,

insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds.

This role will initially be based in Gurgaon, aligned to U.S. business hours, and will work closely with senior stakeholders across the clients Capital Markets, Investor Relations, Investments, Asset Management, and

Finance teams.


About the Role

The Associate will support all aspects of capital raising and investor relations across private equity and debt investment vehicles. The role requires close collaboration with investment professionals and senior leadership, along with strong execution across fundraising, client servicing, and investor communications. Over time, high-performing candidates may be considered for long-term onsite opportunities in the United States, subject to business requirements, performance, and applicable immigration regulations.


Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

Capital Raising & Fund Marketing

  • Support responses to investor and consultant requests (RFPs, DDQs, and ad-hoc inquiries)
  • Maintain and manage RFP and response management platforms
  • Assist in preparation and updating marketing materials, pitchbooks, and investor presentations
  • Support preparation for investor meetings, due diligence sessions, and site visits
  • Conduct industry, investor, and competitor research
  • Track fundraising pipelines and investor interactions using CRM systems


Investor Relations & Client Service

  • Support planning and execution of annual investor meetings and recurring fund communications
  • Ensure consistency and quality of client-facing materials in line with branding standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely and accurate investor deliverables
  • Assist with ongoing investor reporting and relationship management


Internal Coordination & Process Support

  • Track fund-level data, investment metrics, and corporate information
  • Collaborate with global onshore and offshore teams
  • Support technology adoption and continuous process improvements within the IR function


Required Competencies (include, but are not limited to)

  • 3-5 years of experience in private equity, real estate investments, private credit, or institutional asset management
  • Strong understanding of private fund structures, capital raising, and institutional investor dynamics
  • Familiarity with investment performance metrics and portfolio reporting
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders in a professional, client-facing setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Education & Technical Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with CRM and RFP/response management tools preferred
  • Willingness and ability to work in US hours from Gurgaon
