About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded Capital & Investor Engagement Executive to support the growth of the GBB Investment Summit, working directly with founders, developers, and senior decision-makers seeking structured access to capital.
This is not a passive sales or admin role. It is a front-line business development role focused on identifying high-quality companies actively seeking capital and positioning them into curated investor environments. You will work closely with founders, developers, and senior executives, helping them access meaningful capital conversations through our summits.
The ideal candidate understands that delegate sales is about insight, relevance, and timing , not volume pitching. You should be comfortable researching businesses deeply, holding confident conversations with C-suite leaders, and clearly articulating value in high-stakes investment environments.
This role sits at the intersection of fundraising, strategic outreach, and global investor engagement , offering exposure to real projects, real capital, and real decision-makers across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential companies across real estate and hospitality that are actively seeking capital.
- Qualify businesses based on funding requirements, project readiness, and strategic fit with investor profiles.
- Design and execute targeted outreach campaigns to onboard qualified companies as Summit delegates.
- Engage directly with founders, promoters, and C-level executives to clearly present summit value propositions.
- Conduct in-depth research on companies, projects, capital requirements, and regional market dynamics.
- Contribute to messaging frameworks, outreach templates, and market segmentation strategies.
- Manage the delegate journey pre- and post-event to ensure a high-quality experience and long-term relationship.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and industry databases.
- Pitching & Conversions: Deliver clear, confident pitches highlighting investor access, curated 1-to-1 meetings, pitch sessions, branding exposure, and deal-making opportunities.
- Conduct virtual meetings and calls to explain agenda structure, investor mix, deliverables, and outcomes.
What Were Looking For
- Freshers with strong commercial instinct or professionals with 23 years of experience in delegate sales, B2B outreach, capital advisory, or investment-focused events.
- Strong interest in investor ecosystems, particularly real estate, hospitality, or private capital markets.
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- High levels of ownership, persistence, and outcome-driven thinking.
- Prior experience in event delegate acquisition, capital matchmaking, or project fundraising is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to research, qualify, and convert high-quality leads rather than chasing volume.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, target-driven environment with clear expectations.
