Position Summary
Level: Manager or equivalent
As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning, to ensure successful outcomes.
Work youll do:
- Understand Client Requirements: Collaborate with the sales team to gather and analyze client requirements, including business objectives, technical needs, and budget constraints. Conduct thorough discovery sessions to ensure a deep understanding of the client's pain points and desired outcomes.
- Solution Design: Review managed services solutions that address the client's requirements and align with industry best practices. This includes designing technical architectures, selecting appropriate technologies, and outlining implementation plans.
- Proposal Development: Review technical proposals and statements of work (SOW) that clearly articulate the solution's benefits, features, and implementation approach. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proposals are tailored to the client's specific needs, including pricing and contract terms.
- Presentation and Demonstration: Deliver persuasive and engaging presentations to clients, showcasing the proposed managed services solution and its value proposition. Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to highlight key features and functionalities.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the managed services industry. Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to clients on industry standards, security, scalability, and performance considerations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless handover and successful implementation of the proposed solution. Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate scoping and alignment with client expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement areas for improvement in the solution design and presales process. Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams to enhance the company's managed services offerings.

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
8 - 14 years of hands-on experience in Leading Complex Presales Engagements with Oversight of multiple, concurrent presales projectsfrom initial client discovery to solution design and proposal delivery; Direct involvement in shaping large, strategic deals (e.g., multimillion-dollar managed services contracts, global rollouts); Managing proposal teams to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with client needs.
Strategic Client Engagement & Relationship Management
o Executive-level communication and negotiation

o Understanding client business strategy and aligning solutions accordingly
Solution Strategy & Oversight
o Leading the design and review of complex managed services solutions

o Leading proposal development and SOW creation, including pricing strategy and risk assessment
o Strong understanding of commercial models (e.g., fixed price, consumption-based, outcome-based)

Experience with automation, AI, or next-gen managed services
Change management and organizational transformation experience
Education: BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad
Shift Timings:
11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
