Job Description
Position: CAE Engineer Occupant Safety
Experience: 1015 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 45 Days
Location: Pune
Qualification: BE / ME / MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Design, CAD/CAM or related engineering domain

Job Responsibilities
- Perform detailed crash and occupant safety analysis for high-speed impact conditions across different project stages while meeting timeline and quality requirements.
- Utilize CAE tools such as ANSA, HyperMesh, Animator, PAM-Crash / LS-Dyna for occupant safety simulations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards including EuroNCAP, AIS, and FMVSS.
- Provide effective countermeasures for issues identified during simulations and physical tests.
- Collaborate closely with restraints teams and suppliers to implement required system modifications.
- Conduct correlation studies between simulation results and physical crash tests to improve model accuracy.
- Prepare and present technical reports, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance simulation efficiency and workflow quality.
Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of finite element modeling and occupant safety principles.
- Hands-on experience in crashworthiness and restraint system evaluation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with design and supplier teams.
