Job Title: CAD & Design Specialist

Location: Tonk Road, Jaipur | On-site

Salary - 30k to 60k Per Month

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join one of our prestigious client into wedding decor and production company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming conceptual wedding themes into precise technical drawings and production-ready designs. This role bridges the gap between creative vision and fabrication execution, ensuring flawless design implementation for luxury weddings and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate client briefs, mood boards, and concept sketches into detailed CAD drawings.
• Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models of wedding dcor elements including:
• Stage backdrops
• Mandaps
• Entry gates
• Floral installations
• Ceiling hangings
• Table setups
• Custom props and structural elements
• Develop scaled layouts for venues based on site measurements
• Prepare fabrication-ready drawings with accurate dimensions, materials, finishes, and assembly details.
• Produce detailed working drawings for carpenters, fabricators, and production teams.
• Create exploded views and sectional drawings where required.
• Ensure designs are structurally feasible and production-friendly.
• Work on venue layouts, seating arrangements, stage positioning, and guest flow planning.
• Incorporate electrical, lighting, trussing, and rigging considerations into CAD drawings.
• Modify designs as per venue constraints and client changes.
• Coordinate closely with:
• Creative designers
• Production managers
• Fabrication vendors
• Installation teams
• Participate in client meetings when technical clarification is required.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and approval cycles.
• Create 3D renderings and visual mockups (if skilled in rendering software).
• Assist in preparing presentation drawings for client approvals.
• Support mood boards and presentation decks with technical illustrations.
• Provide on-site technical assistance during installation (if required).
• Troubleshoot design-to-production challenges.
• Ensure final installations match CAD specifications.

Required Skills and Qualification

Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design, or related field.Proficiency in:

AutoCAD (mandatory)

SketchUp / 3ds Max / Rhino (preferred)

V-Ray / Lumion / Enscape (optional but preferred)

Strong understanding of:

• Structural basics
• Materials (wood, metal, fabric, acrylic, florals, etc.)
• Production and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and create technical construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight timelines (wedding deadlines are non-negotiable)
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Creative thinking with technical precision
• Problem-solving mindset

Experience

• Candidate must have 2-5 years of working in a wedding production company
• 25 years of experience in CAD designing
