Hype Software Studio, the company behind CablePROa next-generation cable design and engineering platformis looking for a Technical Consultant to join our expert team. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of cable design technology by applying your engineering knowledge to guide product development, provide technical consulting, and support clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for all cable design matters: LV/MV/HV power cables and optical fiber cables.
• Lead and validate design logic, engineering calculations, and standards implementation within CablePRO.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and sales to shape features based on industry needs.
• Support customer engagements and provide expert guidance in engineering discussions and demos.
• Help define and maintain compliance with international standards (e.g. IEC, IEEE, BS, UL).

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in cable & wire design engineering (both power and fiber optic cables).
• Strong understanding of materials, mechanical and electrical properties, derating factors, ampacity, etc.
• Experience with international standards and specifications (IEC, BS, UL, ICEA).
• Familiarity with cable design software or custom in-house tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and consulting skills. Fluent in English.
