CA Intermediate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a CA Inter qualified professional from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to manage the entire accounting and finance function for our startup. The role requires someone who can independently maintain books of accounts, handle statutory compliances, manage payroll-related compliances, and support the founders with financial reporting and fundraising documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Compliance:

• Maintain and manage books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets
• Record and track daily financial transactions and ensure accurate bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
• Handle GST filings and compliance
• Manage TDS calculations, filings, and reconciliations
• Ensure statutory compliance including PF (Provident Fund) and ESI (Employees State Insurance) filings
• Manage payroll accounting and related statutory deductions
• Coordinate with external CA, auditors, and consultants for audits and compliance
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and expense analysis for management
• Support founders with fundraising documentation, financial projections, and investor data preparation
• Maintain organized financial records for audit, compliance, and due diligence
• Use accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• CA Intermediate qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• 13 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or finance (startup or CA firm experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and statutory compliances
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally / Zoho Books
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end accounting operations
• Good analytical, organizational, and documentation skills

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving financial discrepancies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting internal and external audits to maintain the companys financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
