C++ Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C/C++ code for software applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical specifications.
3. Optimize existing software for performance, scalability, and memory efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
4. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and adherence to coding standards.
5. Participate in code and specification reviews to maintain high code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers.
6. Write and maintain detailed technical documentation for designs, code, and testing procedures.
7. Stay up to date with the latest C++ standards (e.g., C++11/14/17/20) and advancements in application development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
2. Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
3. Experience with memory management in non-garbage collected environments.
4. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
5. Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
6. Experience with debugging and performance optimization tools.
