C++ Application Developer

PeopleSoft Enterprise Tools provides a comprehensive development tool set that supports the development and runtime of PeopleSoft applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Must Have Skills:

Strong programming experience in C++ and Java

Strong Knowledge on any of the UNIX Operating Systems (Linux, Solaris, HPI, AIX)

Strong Knowledge on UNIX debugging Tools like GDB or DBX .

knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle

Strong object-oriented programming and design skills

Sound knowledge on UNIX Porting and GNU Make implementation

Sound knowledge on problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Ability and desire to learn new skills and tackle new tasks

Knowledge of Scripting languages like Perl, Python would be a plus

Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting and Database would be a plus

Preferred Skills: C++, Java, Python and UNIX
