We are the leader for engineering and construction in the oil and gas sector in Spain, one of the leaders in Europe in design and construction of oil and gas facilities, and one of the world leaders in the refining sector.

Most of our business is concentrated on large turnkey industrial projects, although we also provide engineering, management, start-up and operating services for industrial plants.

We are currently looking for Buyer role with between 5 & 10 years experience in similar positions

Responsibilities

• 5 - 10 Years Experience as Buyer in Oil & Gas (EPC) Organisations
• Ensure compliance with directives and corporate/project procedures
• Commercial management of the assigned purchases and purchase orders
• Supplier and bidder evaluation and selection
• Launch of Requests for quotation and expediting timely receipt of bids
• Evaluation, clarification and negotiation of sound bids
• Issue of final Commercial Tabulation and recommendation
• Preparing of award proposals
• Issue and follow-up of approved Purchase Orders, including changes and final close out
• Coordinate and lead kick-off meetings and expediting tasks
• Expedite proactively fabrication and deliveries of suppliers
• Internal expediting and close coordination with other departments and project
• Support Madrid Office to eSupplier Portal Management: Vendors access administration, vendors access support, expedite, follow-up and validation of related info and offers received through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management
• Oil & Gas experience is a must
• Familiar with industrial plant equipment and materials and with strong supplier contacts in related sectors
• Experience in supplier development and relationship management
