Job Description
The position is responsible for understanding and fulfilling customer requirements ; reviewing to achieve critical financial parameters such as Profitability - PBT, Free Cash Flow-FCF and Return On Capital Employed - ROCE ; managing and controlling inventory as per norms ; driving safety culture from the end to end processes in the plant operations ; leading team towards creating breakdown free equipment and minimizing maintenance cost ; introducing modern manufacturing systems, processes and new technologies including digitization in the critical operational areas in order to improve the plant efficiency ; ensuring statutory and legal compliance ; continuous upgradation on quality management system to achieve zero ppm at customer end ; setting benchmarks in the operational systems beyond competitors' best-in class practices to ensure quality of regular and new products ; assisting international sales team to handle multiple products ; designing a system for innovative sales and marketing campaigns in order to achieve increase in sales ; developing plan and implementing effective international sales strategies to achieve sales targets ; maintaining relationship with international distribution agencies ; adopting various strategic approaches like outsourcing of non-core activities to control on cost, in order to achieve business goals.
The BU Head has the complete P&L responsibilty, with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, SCM, HR & the finance teams reporting to him.
Experience - 20 to 25 years
Qualification - BE + MBA
