About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with strong exposure to broker partnerships across India and the US. The role focuses on building and managing strategic relationships with brokers, clearing members, and exchanges within a quantitative proprietary trading environment.

This position works closely with the Founder and leadership team, playing a key role in broker onboarding, regulatory coordination, commercial negotiations, and market expansion initiatives.

The ideal candidate should understand trading infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and the brokerage ecosystem, especially within proprietary trading, HFT, and MFT environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Founder to support strategic decisions related to broker partnerships and expansion.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with brokers, clearing members, and exchange partners in India and the US.
  • Lead broker onboarding, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and agreement execution.
  • Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure alignment with SEBI, SEC, FINRA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Act as the primary liaison between external brokers and internal trading, technology, and operations teams.
  • Identify new opportunities across markets, exchanges, and asset classes.
  • Optimize brokerage costs, execution quality, connectivity, and co-location arrangements.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and conduct ongoing partner performance reviews.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 56+ years of experience in business development, broker relationship management, or financial markets partnerships.
  • Proven experience working with Indian and US brokerage ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Indian exchanges and broker landscape (NSE, BSE, MCX, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SEBI, SEC, and FINRA regulations.
  • Good understanding of trading infrastructure, clearing, connectivity, and market operations.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Experience handling broker onboarding and due diligence processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
