Job Description
The Business Process Expert plays a crucial role in driving business process optimization, technology adoption, and strategic decision-making. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and reengineer current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven solutions to improve organizational productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. The Business Process Expert acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into effective solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document and map business processes, analyze them for inefficiencies, and conduct performance analysis to support improvements.
- Engage with clients and teams to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements. Develop thorough documentation such as Business Cases, BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories, and integrate automation and AI to clients' processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define problems, design process blueprints, and recommend improvements for inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create customer-centric business cases detailing value propositions, benefits, and ROI for significant process improvements. Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets to aid decision-making and resource allocation.
- Track success and optimize processes by establishing key performance indicators and conducting periodic reviews to ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirements and qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in process mapping and reengineering, data analysis, and workflow optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable solutions.
- Experience with business process management (BPM) tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of business case development, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related roles.
- Familiarity with automation tools, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in industries such as Financial Services and Healthcare is preferred.
