Job role:

The Business Manager ANZ is responsible for driving student acquisition and lead generation efforts for the Australia and New Zealand portfolio within their designated region. This role involves close collaboration with SAM and Area Managers as well as the Marketing team to design and execute targeted, high-quality lead generation campaigns that align with yearly enrolment targets. The Business Manager will be expected to deepen institutional relationships, identify key metro and emerging markets, and implement strategic outreach initiatives including seminars, fairs, and subject-specific events. Partnering effectively with the branch network and counselling teams, this position aims to maximize student conversion opportunities and strengthen ANZ program presence across the region.


Accountabilities:

1. Institutional Relationship & Product Development

Identify, establish, and strengthen faculty-level relationships within existing key accounts to promote ANZ programs and initiatives.

Develop tailored engagement strategies to expand student acquisition opportunities through institutional partnerships.

Daily visits to Institutions, weekly execution of Events plan as per the Calander/ Beat Plan

2. Regional & Suburban Market Development

Identify and deepen engagement within key metro suburbs through targeted outreach activities.

Identify and develop opportunities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns to expand ANZs reach and student pipeline.

3. Outreach Planning & Execution

Plan and execute seminars, university fairs, faculty visits, help-desks, and webinars.

Plan and execute knowledge workshops and subject specific events.

Develop city-wise monthly and quarterly outreach calendars for identified regional and suburban areas across the designated area.

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor and report key performance indicators such as lead volume, event participation, and conversion rates.

5. Partner Management

Maintain a structured database of institutional partners and potential collaborators.

Map institutional academic calendars to plan timely engagement activities and maximize participation.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Management

Develop and nurture strong relationships with University Partners to ensure sustained collaboration and mutual growth.

Conduct regular engagement meetings with all client partners and explore new opportunities for student engagement.

Keep track of the in-country academic movements of the clients and explore opportunities as applicable through a timely communication and alignment with their objectives.

2. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

Partner with the SAM colleagues to identify, plan, and execute ANZ-related opportunities.

Work in close coordination with admissions and counselling teams to ensure timely lead follow-up and a seamless student journey.


Qualification:

Bachelors degree or above

Experience:

5 to 7 years of experience with an Education Agency preferred in on ground lead generation or strategic alliances team

Knowledge of the ANZ, Europe & new emerging destinations in the education sector.

Desired skills and requirement:

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams, clients, and peer managers.

Solution-oriented approach to selling and knowledge of the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.

Ability to engage with Senior management and other departments to achieve business goals and objectives.

Ability to work in challenging situations and stick to deadlines.

Analytical and logical skills.

Self-motivated and Result-oriented.

Good IT skills Internet, Windows environment, MS office especially excel, word and PowerPoint.
