Carrier Logistics team provides offerings for 3P carrier partners who work with Amazon to manage transportation lifecycle activities on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about data and analytics.
The candidate is an expert with business intelligence tools and passionately partners with the business to identify strategic opportunities where data
- backed insights drive value creation.
An effective communicator, the candidate crisply translates analysis result into executive
- facing business terms.
The candidate works aptly with internal and external teams to push the projects across the finishing line.
The candidate is a self
- starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast
- paced and global team.
Key job responsibilities
• Work closely with the BIEs, DEs and SDEs in the team and collaborate effectively with product managers to create scalable solutions for business problems.
• Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to help team achieve objectives
• Identify opportunities for improvement or automation in existing data processes and lead the changes using your business acumen and data handling skills.
• Use the best practice on data integrity, design, test, implementation, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to transportation operations strategy development based on data analysis
• Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes
• Build and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly business review metrics.
• Build data reports and dashboards: Leverage your data skills and technical means (SQL, Excel, etc.) to improve on business efficiency across programs.
About the team
Carrier Logistics team provides offerings for 3P carrier partners who work with Amazon to manage transportation lifecycle activities on a daily basis.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc.
and using databases in a business environment with large
- scale, complex datasets
