Business Intelligence Developer

In this position, the candidate will build and maintain BI and analytics solutions that transform data into knowledge and provide insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data and business analysis, along with analytical and communication skills. Sound business understanding and problem-solving abilities are also desired. The candidate will work directly in a client facing role to provide architecture, design, configuration, support, consultation services, and technical software project support, focusing on Microsoft Power BI .

The Preferred Skills and Experience :

1. 4+ years of extensive experience in prototyping, designing, developing, publishing Power BI Reports
2. In depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query, Visualizations and Story Telling
3. Experience identifying business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights.
4. Experience converting business needs into technical specifications and establishing timelines for job completion.
5. Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, data warehousing, database architecture
6. Experience with Cognos is desirable.
7. Experience with Azure platform is a plus.
8. Agile Development Methodology is a plus.
9. Effective communication and should have worked in a client facing role.
