Job Description
Note: This is a majorly remote job; the client requires on-site once every 2 weeks for 2 days.
Candidates local to Bengaluru or Chennai will be considered.
1. Dashboard Design & Ownership
- Design, build, and own BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Maintain approximately 10 functional dashboards across teams
- Ensure dashboards are:
- Accurate (validated data sources, reconciled metrics)
- Scalable (modular design, reusable data models)
- Well-documented (clear definitions, metric logic, dependencies)
2. Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with business teams to gather and translate requirements into effective visualizations
- Convert ambiguous reporting needs into structured, usable dashboards
- Proactively recommend improved reporting approaches and KPI tracking
3. Governance & Access Management
- Manage access control and permissions for BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Provide and monitor Tableau access requests
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and data governance practices
4. Support & Operations
- Monitor and triage requests from the #ask-databee Slack channel
- Route requests appropriately and resolve reporting-related queries
- Maintain BI documentation and reporting standards
- Ensure timely resolution of dashboard issues and data discrepancies
5. Platform Evolution & Migration Readiness
- Support ongoing optimization of the current BI infrastructure
- Contribute to planning and execution of potential migration to an SFDC-native reporting platform
- Ensure reporting logic is portable, documented, and future-ready
