Job Title: Business Head Aluminum Ladder

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Head Aluminum Ladder to lead and scale the complete aluminum ladder business vertical. The role will be responsible for strategic planning, revenue growth, market expansion, channel development, product positioning, and profitability. The incumbent will drive end-to-end operations including sales, marketing, distribution, and coordination with production and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Leadership

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies for the aluminum ladder division.
  • Own P&L responsibility, ensuring revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
  • Identify new markets, segments, and applications (industrial, construction, domestic, institutional).
  • Define pricing strategies, product mix, and go-to-market plans.

Sales & Market Development

  • Drive pan-India / regional sales growth through distributors, dealers, key accounts, and project sales.
  • Build and strengthen channel partner networks and OEM relationships.
  • Lead key customer negotiations and large institutional / B2B deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.

Product & Brand Management

  • Work closely with R&D and production teams on new product development, customization, and quality improvements.
  • Ensure products comply with safety standards and certifications.
  • Strengthen brand positioning in the aluminum ladder and access equipment category.

Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance for smooth operations.
  • Forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Improve operational efficiencies and reduce lead times.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and business team.
  • Set targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred)
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Commerce is an advantage

Experience

  • 1220 years of experience in building materials, aluminum products, industrial safety, or allied industries
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role handling business head or vertical head responsibilities
  • Strong experience in B2B sales, channel management, and P&L ownership

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep understanding of aluminum products, ladders, scaffolding, or access solutions (preferred)
  • Analytical, result-oriented, and customer-centric mindset
