Job description:

Pharma Manufacturing Business Lead OR Industry Advisor is responsible and accountable for growing Pharma manufacturing services business. He will be responsible to create and present strong point of views in transforming to Industrie 4.0 for Pharma manufacturing sector. The associate will be responsible in supporting a revenue pipeline for Pharma Manufacturing customers. Associate will on the need basis, may lead the Pharma manufacturing services business discussions and propose solutions in Pharma manufacturing operations transformation initiatives. Associate needs to have strong understanding of Pharma manufacturing processes such as Solid dosage, formulations, liquid dosage, small molecules, packaging and biologics. Associate needs to have strong understanding of plant IT applications across ISA S95 such as ERP, MES/eBatch Records systems, Lab informatics, control automation layer in the pharma manufacturing industry and the integration framework with upstream and downstream manufacturing and quality systems.

Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for business growth in Pharma Manufacturing Services

• Lead discussions with the prospective customers in positioning Digital Transformation advisory services with focus on the Pharma Mfg. operations transformation & Digital Plant Solution.

• Lead core team of Digital Transformation program and initiatives 

• Collaborate in identifying, assessing, and selecting innovative ideas from internal and external sources based on their value proposition 

• Collaborate in spreading knowledge and enhancement of the workforce capabilities. 

• Drive rapid design and development of minimum viable products, supporting future business models and innovation in Manufacturing and supply chain 

• Support scale up of successful ideas

• Build ROI models and the KPI's for monitoring success of the investments proposed.

• Support Geo sales teams in sales process cycle and help new logo acquisition team in Go-to-Market Strategy.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have:

• Strong Understanding of Pharma Manufacturing (Chem API, Biotechnology, Formulations, Aseptic and Injectables, CRO's, CRAMS) 

• Understanding of Pharma Mfg. latest trend of technologies that drives Industry 4.0/Pharma 4.0 

• Must understand shop floor challenges from operations, Quality and Regulatory perspective and ability to prescribe strategic digital solutions to address the challenges. 

•    Experience of designing investment Vs Benefits proposals 

•    Exposure to the latest technology trends in the Digital Manufacturing and IOT based solutions especially implemented in Pharma Manufacturing.

• Conv ersant with the usage of Enterprise as well as Plant IT applications across ISA S95 ERP, PLM, Plant Engineering, MES, Lab informatics, DCS, SCADA, HMI, etc. in the pharma manufacturing industry and integration framework with upstream and downstream systems.

• Experience in design, optimize and standardize ISA S95 & S88 standards across Manufacturing application systems 

• Experience in process automation, IT application systems and integrations 

• Functional Knowledge in use of data analytics to evolve uses cases to benefit business community in Pharma Quality and manufacturing such as Golden batch, yield improvement

• Experience in designing process data models, business analytics, Operations Intelligence, and mapping with new IT technologies like, Big Data, Cloud, Kafka, Active MQ etc. 

• Experience in leveraging Mfg. applications systems like ERP, MES, DCS, LIMS, DOC, MI, EAMS,  PLC, SCADA, HMI, Field Instrumentation 

• Good familiarity with the regulatory environment viz the cGxP requirements of the US FDA . Familiarity to the GAMP,  CFR Part 11, IQ, OQ, PQ and their relationship to the GMP 

• Familiar with Pharma products and processes and their harmonization/standardization through technology and process behaviors.  

• Familiarity of Cell & Gene Therapy based process development and manufacturing will be preferred

• Candidates having direct work experience in Pharma Manufacturing and having executive level network and membership in relevant forums will be preferred
