Business Head (Ex-Founders)

About the Role

Our client is one of Indias large new-age consumer organizations. As the company expands into multiple categories, we are hiring Business Heads to build and scale these businesses.

This role is ideal for ex-founders or leaders from Founders Office / consulting backgrounds who have experienced the 01 journey , understand the hustle of building in ambiguous environments, and are now excited to apply that mindset within a scaled consumer platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end charter for a new business or category strategy, execution, and scale.
• Define the market opportunity, customer value proposition, and go-to-market strategy.
• Build and lead a lean, high-impact cross-functional team across product, ops, growth, and partnerships.
• Drive execution with a strong bias for action in high-ambiguity environments.
• Own business metrics and P&L , including growth, unit economics, and profitability.
• Partner closely with central teams (product, tech, supply chain, marketing, finance) to unlock scale advantages.
• Act as the internal founder , bringing ownership, resilience, and hands-on problem solving.

Requirements

• Ex-founder strongly preferred , or experience in Founders Office / early leadership roles at high-growth startups.
• Background in top-tier management consulting, venture-backed startups , or new-age consumer companies.
• Proven experience building something from scratch (01) and scaling it meaningfully.
• Strong academic pedigree from leading institutions
• Sharp strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability.
