Business Finance Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Finance Associate to support financial planning, reporting, and project-level financial control. The role will work closely with business and operations teams to track performance, manage budgets, and ensure financial discipline across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support preparation and maintenance of Business P&L statements
• Manage and track project-level P&L , ensuring cost and revenue alignment
• Assist in project budgeting , forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports for management review (weekly/monthly)
• Work on basic accounting and finance operations using Zoho Finance (basic version)
• Track project costs, margins, and profitability metrics
• Support financial analysis to aid business decision-making
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect financial data and resolve discrepancies

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on knowledge of Zoho Finance (basic level)
• MIS reporting intermediate proficiency
• Strong understanding of Business P&L
• Experience managing project-level P&L
• Knowledge of project budgeting and cost tracking
• Good Excel skills (formulas, pivots, basic analysis)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

Experience & Qualification

• 13 years of experience in Business Finance, Project Finance, or MIS roles
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred

• Exposure to multi-project or operations-heavy environments
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and business teams
