About this role:

 Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop complex teams handling multifaceted tasks and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Engage business stakeholders in integrating or implementing business execution initiatives
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, redesign, change management initiatives, and risk control development
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operations of the team to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with immediate colleagues and cross functional business partners
  • Interact directly with executive management to influence, optimize, and negotiate on business operations related to Strategy and Execution
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • As Business Execution Manager for Incident and Escalation Management, your primary role is to oversee the end-to-end process of incident management to ensure the swift resolution of service disruptions, minimizing business impact, and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • This role involves coordinating responses to IT or operational incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing preventive measures to ensure continuous service improvement.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proven experience in procedure management, business process improvement, or quality management roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience with document management systems, PowerApps, Microsoft 365, and process mapping tools will be a plus

Job Expectations:

Incident Response and Coordination:

  • Act as the single point of contact for all major incidents.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt resolution of incidents.
  • Lead incident triage meetings to assess impact, urgency, and resolution priorities.
  • Escalate incidents to the appropriate stakeholders or vendors when necessary.

Incident Monitoring and Tracking:

  • Monitor systems and processes for potential or active incidents.
  • Track and document incident progress in real-time using incident management tools
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Communication and Reporting:

  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on incident status and resolution progress.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
  • Maintain an incident log for audit and compliance purposes.

Root Cause Analysis and Improvement:

  • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with teams for process improvements.
  • Identify trends and recurring issues to drive continuous service improvement.

Policy and Process Development:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve incident management policies and procedures.
  • Train and guide teams on incident management best practices.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve the teams and business objectives
  • Mentor, motivate and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
  • Provide training, performance evaluation, and coaching to the team members
  • Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce risk
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among the team(s) to identify best practices and implement process improvements
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices
  • Document SLA’s/ key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and effectiveness and drive initiatives to optimize performance
  • Implement corrective actions for enhancements and/or to address gaps or deficiencies identified during RCSA, audits
  • Lead the Incident and Escalation Management teams
  • Ensure that SLA's are monitored and met
  • Monitor Escalations within CBO and ensure that adequate follow up’s are done by the team to meet the stringent resolution turnaround time
  • Ensure that dashboard reports are created and communicated to the stakeholders with metrics such as volumes, turnaround times, trends and root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with the Problem Management team to streamline the process, and build efficiency
  • Ensure that the Escalation Matrix is viewed and updated periodically and is in an evergreen state
