Job Description

Role: Business Development Specialist


We are looking for a high-energy Business Development Specialist with a proven track record of breaking into and scaling within the US Market. This is a "Hunter" role where you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from initial US-focused outreach and networking to closing high-value IT service deals.


Responsibilities


  • US Outreach & Prospecting: Execute strategic cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) specifically tailored to the US business culture and professional standards.


  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified meetings. Ensure a high conversion rate from "initial contact" to "proposal sent."


  • High-Value Closing: Lead negotiations and close complex, high-value IT service deals, ensuring alignment with company profit margins.


  • Networking: Leverage digital platforms and virtual events to build a strong professional network of US-based decision-makers (CTOs, CEOs, VPs of Engineering).


  • CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate records in the CRM, ensuring all lead data, communication history, and sales forecasts are accurate and up-to-date.


  • Technical Consultation: Act as a bridge between the client and the technical team by clearly articulating IT processes, terminologies, and project delivery frameworks.


Skills Required


  • US Market Expertise: Minimum 4 years of experience specifically selling IT services or software solutions to the US market.
  • Communication: Mastery of communicative English, clear, concise, and persuasive in both oral presentations and written proposals.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong grasp of IT terminologies (e.g., SDLC, Agile, Cloud Services, SaaS, Staff Augmentation) and the ability to explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sales Tech Stack: High proficiency in Zoho CRM and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo).
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work as a team player, collaborating with technical leads for solution architecting.
