We combine certified career psychologists, experienced academic counsellors, and a structured decision platform to help students make informed choices about their careers, courses, and collegesbacked by a database of 3,69,000 courses across 17,500 colleges and 2,998 career pathways.

We're growing rapidly and looking for a seasoned business development professional to lead school acquisition across Mumbai.


The Role

As Business Development Manager Schools, you will be the face of The Education Match in front of school leadership. Your primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and onboard new schools onto our career counselling programbuilding relationships at every level, from counsellors to trustees.

This is a high-ownership, field-heavy role for someone who understands the school ecosystem, knows how to navigate institutional sales cycles, and is genuinely passionate about the impact of good career guidance on students' lives.


What You'll Do

  • Identify and prospect schools across MumbaiCBSE, ICSE, IB, and state board
  • Build relationships with principals, trustees, management committees, and school counsellors
  • Present and pitch The Education Match program to school decision-makers
  • Own the complete sales cyclefrom first meeting to signed agreement
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly school acquisition targets
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
  • Collaborate with the counselling and operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new schools
  • Represent TEM at education conferences, school events, and networking forums
  • Provide market feedback to help refine product positioning and program offerings


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales with Schools (Publication/ Edtech)
  • Demonstrated track record of institutional/B2B salesideally selling to schools or educational institutions
  • Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder environments (principals, management, counsellors)
  • Strong presentation and communication skillsyou can walk into a principal's office and command the room
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with field sales
  • Deep understanding of the Mumbai school landscape is a strong advantage
  • Genuine belief in the value of career guidance and student development
