The company focuses on building commercial opportunities across branded content, celebrity collaborations, IP integrations, and content-led brand storytelling across film, digital, and OTT ecosystems.
Role Summary
This is a revenue-focused business development role responsible for sourcing opportunities, initiating commercial conversations, and driving deals from first contact to closure stage. The role requires strong industry fluency and the ability to engage confidently with brand teams, agencies, producers, studios, and OTT platforms.
Core Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across brands, agencies, production houses, studios, and OTT platforms.
- Build and manage outbound lead pipelines through research, networking, and industry mapping.
- Initiate first-level commercial discussions and convert interest into active deal opportunities.
Partnership & Deal Development
- Structure commercial proposals spanning branded content, celebrity integrations, IP partnerships, and content collaborations.
- Lead early-to-mid stage negotiations and move deals toward closure readiness.
- Work with internal strategy and creative teams to build monetizable solutions.
Market & Opportunity Intelligence
- Track brand campaign cycles, content commissioning patterns, and platform content demand.
- Identify white spaces where brand marketing and content production can intersect commercially.
Revenue Ownership
- Meet defined revenue targets and pipeline conversion metrics.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of deal progress.
Required Experience & Skills
- 34+ years in business development, media sales, brand partnerships, or content partnerships.
- Versatility to speak the language of corporate brands, marketing heads, and production houses alike.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing deals independently.
- Strong understanding of Indian media, entertainment, and advertising ecosystem.
- Experience engaging with brand marketing teams, agencies, or content buyers.
- Strong commercial negotiation and presentation ability.
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, relationship-driven deal environments.
