Locations:

Pune (including Baramati & Shirur)

Dharashiv (Osmanabad) & Latur

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Field

Experience Required: 25 years in B2B Sales (Dealer Onboarding Mandatory)

Industry: Farm Machinery / Agri-Equipment


About the Role

Orbit Farming is looking for a proactive Business Development Officer (B2B) to drive dealer onboarding, channel expansion, sales growth, and demand generation across assigned territories.

This role is ideal for someone who understands rural markets and has strong on-ground execution experience.


Key Responsibilities

Identify & onboard new B2B dealers and distributors

Expand dealer network through market mapping & competitor analysis

Drive primary & secondary sales to achieve territory targets

Conduct product demos, farmer meetings & field activities

Support dealers with lead generation & customer engagement

Maintain strong dealer relationships & resolve operational issues

Prepare daily reports & ensure disciplined field coverage


Skills & Requirements

25 years B2B sales experience

Strong experience in dealer onboarding & channel development

Knowledge of farm machinery / agri-equipment

Good communication & negotiation skills

Willingness to travel extensively

Marathi Mandatory (Hindi/English preferred)


Preferred Background

Candidates from companies like:

VST Tiller, Kisan Kraft, George Maijo, KMW Agri (KOEL), Shrachi Agrimach.

Existing dealer networks will be an added advantage.

Education

HSC / Diploma / Graduate (any discipline)
