This is not a desk role. Youll be in the fieldworking directly with textile processors, dyeing & printing units, and mills to commercialize high-performance chemical solutions.
Role Description
The role will report to the Managing Director and Chairman of the company.
What Youll Own
- Drive new customer acquisition and expansion of key strategic accounts
- Lead product trials and technical-commercial discussions on the shop floor
- Build long-term relationships with plant heads, technical teams, and procurement
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Own end-to-end coordination from trial to production rollout, ensuring customer expectations are met without dependency gaps.
- Experience managing existing distributors while identifying, onboarding, and developing new channel partners to expand market reach and strengthen territory coverage
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- 7+ Proven years of experience in sales, client relationship management, and business development, particularly within the textile chemicals, auxiliaries, OBAs, or printing chemicals industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical solutions for textiles, including dyeing auxiliaries, finishing chemicals, and pre-treatment chemicals.
- Proficiency in market analysis, strategic planning, and identifying business growth opportunities.
- Proven capability to lead technical-commercial discussions with processors, articulate product differentiation on the shop floor, and negotiate supply agreements with decision-makers across textile units and mills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and contribute to a customer-first approach.
- Existing relationships within textile processing houses and mills
- Self-driven, commercially sharp, and comfortable working with high autonomy
- Willingness to travel extensively and own assigned territories
