Business Development Manager Structured Cabling

Position Overview

APSK is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager Structured Cabling to drive revenue growth in Data Center, Enterprise IT Infrastructure, Commercial & Industrial segments.

The role requires strong techno-commercial expertise in Structured Cabling Systems, including Copper, Fiber, OFC, and Data Center Cabling solutions. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end sales management, client acquisition, and relationship building across assigned territories.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in Structured Cabling & ELV Projects
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Handle complete sales lifecycle: Lead Generation Client Meeting Proposal Negotiation Closure
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

Client Management

  • Develop relationships with Enterprise Clients, IT Parks, Data Centers, Corporate Houses
  • Coordinate with Consultants, Architects, Contractors & OEM Partners
  • Conduct technical presentations and solution discussions

Technical & Commercial Coordination

  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals and BOQs
  • Participate in RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams for solution design & costing
  • Ensure smooth project handover post-closure

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends
  • Identify new verticals and emerging opportunities
  • Provide regular MIS reports and sales forecasting


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Structured Cabling Systems (Copper, Fiber, OFC, Data Center Cabling)
  • Understanding of TIA/EIA standards & IT Infrastructure practices
  • Experience in Hyperscale & Enterprise Data Center Projects preferred
  • Strong negotiation & closing skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong network within IT Infrastructure industry


Qualification Criteria

  • Post Graduation: MBA in Sales & Marketing (Mandatory)
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / IT) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant B2B sales experience in Structured Cabling / IT Infrastructure
