About the Role


As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving our growth byidentifyingand pursuing new business opportunities. You willbe responsible forresearching potential clients,initiatingcontact, nurturing relationships, and setting the stage for successful conversions. The ideal candidate hassharpbusiness acumen, a proactive approach to networking, and a strong understanding of the business development landscape.



Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Generation & Prospecting


  • Identifyand qualify potential leads through research, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Build a robust database of prospects andmaintaina consistent pipeline of opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to new clients via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to introduce the agencys offerings.


2. Outreach & Client Acquisition


  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to secure meetings and initiate business discussions.
  • Understand client pain points, marketing goals, and budgets to tailor proposals effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior team members during pitch and proposal stages.


3. Relationship Building


  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, expos, and networking forums to increase visibility.


4. Sales Pipeline Management


  • Manage and track the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Ensure smooth handovers to the client servicing and creativeteamspost-acquisition.


5. Reporting & Insights


  • Provide regular reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
  • Share insights on emerging industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy.


Key Skills & Attributes


  • 56 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Proventrack recordof successfully running lead generation campaigns through emails, digital media, cold calling, participation in industry events, expos, and networking forums.
  • Strongexpertisein prospecting, outreach strategy, and pipeline building.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
