About Our Client: This is a fast-growing social commerce startup working in the creator-led e-commerce space, enabling content creators to monetize product recommendations while offering users a seamless online shopping experience


Job Title: Business Development Lead

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Experience: 5-8 Years

Educational Qualification: Graduate (Pedigree college)


About the role: Were looking for a high-energy Business Development professional to drive brand partnerships in the creator-led e-commerce space. Youll own the full B2B sales cyclefrom prospecting and pitching to negotiation and onboardingacting as a strategic advisor to help D2C brands and retailers scale, reach and grow GMV.


Responsibilities:

  • Own & grow enterprise relationships: Lead end-to-end partnerships with large brands and platforms (e.g., LOral, P&G, HUL, Myntra, Flipkart), leveraging senior networks to drive strategic, long-term engagementsnot just campaign execution.
  • Revenue growth & deal ownership: Own Collabs revenue targets (new + expansion). Lead pitches, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and close large-ticket deals across fixed-fee, performance, and hybrid models.
  • Strategy-led client advisory: Run senior marketing conversations across the funnel (awareness to retention). Translate business objectives into creator-led strategies rooted in consumer insight and platform strengths; engage confidently with CMOs and growth/category leaders.
  • Data-led performance management: Lead reviews, reporting, renewals, and upsells using metrics (GMV, ROAS, CAC, conversion, funnel performance, creator efficiency, incrementality) to improve outcomes.
  • Product & platform fluency: Build strong understanding of product, tracking, and integrations; communicate capabilities/roadmap clearly and serve as the client-to-Product/Data feedback bridge.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Client Solutions.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling company.
  • Strong brand-side exposure and network with proven experience selling to or working closely with brands.
  • Hands-on experience managing large, complex, client-facing relationships.
  • Ability to lead both marketing strategy conversations and metric/performance-led discussions.
  • Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and performance narratives.
  • Solid tech understanding of platforms, SaaS products, and performance tracking systems.


Preferred :

  • Experience in influencer marketing, creator economy, digital media, or performance marketing.
  • Experience working with FMCG, Beauty, Fashion, or Marketplace brands.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and build processes as the business scales.
