About the Role

Technosport is seeking a Business Development Lead EBOs to centrally drive the brands Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) expansion across multiple regions in India. Based in Bangalore, this role will oversee and guide all regional/cluster Business Development teams, ensuring consistent expansion strategy, commercial discipline, and timely store rollouts.


This is a leadership role requiring strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience in scaling EBO networks for fashion & lifestyle brands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central BD lead for all EBO expansions across regions, managing and guiding cluster-level BD teams.
  • Define and execute pan-India EBO expansion strategy, aligned with brand growth plans.
  • Review and approve site selection proposals, feasibility studies, catchment analysis, and commercial evaluations from cluster BD teams.
  • Lead and finalize LOI and lease negotiations for strategic and high-value locations.
  • Ensure standardization of commercial terms, rental benchmarks, and lease structures across regions.
  • Drive store relocation, renewals, closures, and rent renegotiations for underperforming EBOs.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Operations, Projects, Finance, Legal, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure smooth store launches.
  • Maintain senior-level relationships with national developers, mall owners, and property consultants.
  • Track competition, emerging retail trends, and market dynamics to guide expansion decisions.
  • Monitor BD performance metrics, expansion timelines, and pipeline health across clusters.


Key Requirements

  • Experience: 710 years in Retail Real Estate / Business Development with strong exposure to EBO expansion (Fashion & Lifestyle preferred).
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing multi-region or cluster BD teams.
  • Skills: Strong commercial negotiation, strategic planning, analytical ability, and stakeholder management.
  • Location: Bangalore-based role with extensive travel across regions as required.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of high-street, mall, and emerging retail locations across India.
