Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Lead to drive the growth of our CounterDrone Systems portfolio. The ideal candidate will leverage strong networks within the armed forces and defence ecosystem to generate leads, secure orders, and position our solutions effectively. A solid background in defence business development and marketing, along with an understanding of drone and counterdrone technologies, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to promote CounterDrone Systems in domestic and international markets.
- Utilize established networks within the armed forces and defence services to drive orders, negotiate contracts, and identify new opportunities.
- Engage with defence agencies, procurement bodies, and government stakeholders to position counterdrone solutions.
- Represent the organisation in client meetings, demonstrations, and capability presentations as a subject matter advocate.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape in the counterdrone domain.
- Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer expectations and compliance requirements.
- Lead marketing initiatives, including campaigns, presentations, trade shows, and promotional events to enhance product visibility.
- Ensure alignment with organisational business objectives and longterm growth strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in business development and marketing, preferably within the defence or aerospace sectors.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
