Role Summary

Uptrail is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with 12 years of EdTech sales experience to support the growth of our career accelerator programmes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging prospective learners, promoting our tech programmes, and converting qualified leads into enrolled participants.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective students interested in technology training programmes and career accelerator courses.
  • Manage inbound and outbound leads, guiding prospects through the programme selection and enrolment process.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand candidate career goals and recommend suitable programmes.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and enrolment targets for tech courses and programmes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and programme teams to improve lead generation strategies and conversion rates.


Required Qualifications

  • 12 years of sales experience in the EdTech sector, particularly selling courses, bootcamps, or training programmes.
  • Strong understanding of online education, career accelerator programmes, or professional training courses.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and close deals.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to track leads and manage customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote work environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling data science, software development, cyber security, or cloud training programmes.
  • Familiarity with international student recruitment or global EdTech markets.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth EdTech environment.
